Kauai Hawaii
Gary and I had a great trip to Kauai. We had a lot of rain, but were still able to enjoy the beauty of the island, little excursions and a hike on the Hanalei coast before it got too wet. We stayed in Princeville a few days and then moved over to Lihue for the rest of the week. Our highlight for sure was a boating trip along the Nepali coast. We went through caves, saw lots of dolphins and whales, our guide was great and small boat with just 6 passengers, so it was awesome!

Tanner and Kelly come to visit
Kelly and Tanner come to visit and bring Molly too. So fun to get baby Ro and Coco together. They are just starting to notice each other. Fun to watch them be interested in each other. So fun to have grand babies I the house. Molly is a huge help too.

Janet turn's 90!!
Grandma Janet turns 90!! This woman impresses us all with her health, energy and spirit. She stays active and busy with blogs, cooking, reading, shows, family history, she never stops (until she is ready for a nap). We were able to gather a good part of the family for Mexican food and a video recap of her 90 years young. Love
you Mom!

Cohen's first birthday!
The beauty of being retired is we were able to head right back to Las Vegas for Cohen's first birthday and another cool hike. Love having these families so close that we can get there in just a few hours and they are all gracious enough to accommodate us. Love my family.

New Years 2023
We were so lucky to have Sarah and Amy come to San Diego after Christmas to enjoy some Carlsbad fun. Grandma loves her beach trips and cool hikes! We don't get enough time with Charli, Harper or Calvin!!

Christmas 2022
We had such a wonderful Christmas! Kristi was kind enough to host most of our get togethers. Now that Kelly, Tanner and Kristi are all living in Las Vegas, it wasn't too hard for the rest of us to get there, and we all spread out between the three homes. (Amy who had to travel from West Virginia, so gratefully they were able to make a trip that included San Diego too.) Christmas Eve day we went hiking at Red Rock. The kids loved climbing on the rocks, the weather was perfect and an enjoyable outing for all. Christmas Eve included food, games and Ethan brought his arm wrestling set up, that brought out the competitive spirit in all. Christmas Day was Sunday that included a baby blessing for sweet Calvin and a quick family picture. The next day we all gathered at the skating rink for more fun times together. Such a wonderful few days with everyone together, it doesn't happen very often. Blessed!!

Sedona
Now that we are retired, it is wonderful that we can take off and not have to worry about being back to work. And, while my mom is healthy, and my hip and knee are mostly recovered, we want to enjoy some trips. Sedona was wonderful, a little chilly, but not crowded and easy to get around. We enjoyed a hike everyday and spending quality time together. We loved our time in Sedona!
