West Virginia with Amy's family Feb 2024

Bowling with the Travis family

Charlie and Harper

For Gary's birthday Amy and Joe took us to the BYU basketball game at the college

We had so much fun look at the fairy houses on our walk!

Happy birthday Grandpa Gary!! Yummy cake!

We watched the girls while Joe and Amy went to Joes  tournament in Pittsburgh. They ate so good!!

But, they didn't sleep well, so very tired the next day to meet their parents!

We loved visiting with Amy's family in Morgantown, West Virginia. We enjoy going to the gym with Amy at the college, eating lots of good food. They treated us to a ball game and had a fun hike with the kids. Joe had a tournament in Pittsburgh, so we watched the girls overnight before flying back to San Diego. The kids each have their own unique personality, and it is so fun to spend time with them and watch them grown up. Amy and Joe have a lovely home and many good friends.

Sedona January 2024

After Christmas Gary and I decided to take a little trip to Sedona, Arizona. It is always so beautiful. It was a little cooler and a little more crowded that we expected, but we always enjoy our time together traveling and enjoying nature.

Christmas 2023

Christmas was a little quiet this year, but we loved having Kelly's family and Craig with us this year. Rowan is so fun to watch and we love our time with Craig, Kelly and Collin whenever we can get it!

Welcome baby Lucy!

Baby Lucy was a little slow to get here. We waiting with Sarah shopping and going to the gym. Sarah carried her so well!! When the time came, Sarah did amazing (and Ethan too) but Lucy needed a little extra oxygen so they took her to the NICU with Ethan. I stayed with Sarah and could tell she wasn't doing too good. She lost a lot of blood and started to pass out. Gary and I went home and Ethan stayed with Sarah and Lucy. It was a long night, but all went well. Lucy came home with oxygen but seemed like she was doing really well. It was a lot for new parents. Just before we left, Sarah started feeling really sick, so we took her in and turns out she still had some residue from labor that had to be removed. We kept Lucy overnight and Ethan stayed with Sarah. Lucy never did take to breastfeeding very well, but that worked out ok for me, cause I was able to feed her the breastmilk from the bottle. By the time we left, mother and baby were doing well. We loved spending this time with all of them! We love you baby Lucy!

On our way up to Utah for the birth of baby Lucy, we stopped in Las Vegas and Bryce Canyon for a few days. We alway love hiking with the kids at Red Rock Canyon, very close to Kelly and Collin. It was so beautiful and perfect hiking weather. Fun days, I love being outside in nature with my family!
