Christmas in Carlsbad with Ethan and Sarah, Collin and Kelly and Craig. And, of course Scout! It's always a little quiet without little kids, but we had a wonderful time. The highlight was opening Amy's gift and finding the ultrasound pictures announcing she was pregnant. We now had 3 grand babies coming, Tanner and Marissa, Collin and Kelly and now Amy and Joe too. Lots to look forward to in 2022! We are truly blessed!

Baptism and Gingerbread houses
Fun times in Las Vegas with the Stewarts. We were there for Molly's baptism and then got two participate in their annual gingerbread house making tradition. Great times, the Stewarts know how to entertain!

Cannon Beach, Oregon
Gary and I had a lot of fun traveling to Cannon Beach on the Oregon Coast. We flew to Portland and then drove to Tillamook to tour the cheese factory which was quite fascinating! We then headed up the coast to Cannon Beach. The weather was a little cold and wet for our liking, but that's why everything is so green and beautiful. We enjoyed some day trips up the coast as well and had a great time.

Park City
Fun trip to Park City. We got to see my mom, she is amazingly healthy and her mind is sharp. She lives at Treeo in Orem, Utah and is enjoying her time there. It was fun to have Sarah and Ethan join us for a few activities in Park City and Gary and I enjoyed some biking and our time together.

Marilyn's Passing and Memorial Service
Marilyn passed away July 27, 2021 in Springville Utah. Here last years were difficult as she continued to lose her memory and ability to care for herself. Kim was the loving nurturing daughter that lived closest to her and was able to visit her daily, she was very selfless as she cared for her mother during her last years. She will be greatly missed, a true example of a woman that always put others first and loved to serve in whatever way she could. Services were held in El Cajon on August 14th at the Hillsdale building where she was lovingly honored by her children. We then headed to the burial site (Singing Hills Memorial Park) where she was buried next to her husband Frenchie. We then return to the church for a lunch with the family. She was loved greatly and left a great posterity.

Coeur d'Alene Idaho
Gary and I had a wonderful little get away to Coeur d'Alene Idaho. We flew to Seattle and drove from there. There were quite a few fires being battled in the area and the air quality was not great. But we had a great time exploring new sites, renting bikes, hiking and going out on the lake one day. It's always nice we Gary and I can reconnect on our little trips together.

Maui with Kelly and Craig
Maui with Kelly and Craig was great fun (Collin couldn't join us). We had some fun snorkeling days and diving for Craig and Kelly. Craig and I had a good day scouting out a beach he was interested in while Kelly and Craig enjoyed relaxing at the hotel with a massage. It was a wonderful trip, we always love having our kids along with us. :)
