Halloween

We were in Kauai for halloween but enjoyed seeing all the creative costumes from Kids and grandkids!

Kauai for Gary and Linda

Gary and I had a very easy and relaxing week in Kauai. Just the two of us. The hotel was a mile away from the airport and we didn't travel to far everyday. We enjoyed a kayak/hike to waterful tour and went to Poipu a few days. Enjoyed snorkling and watching the green sea turtles come up on the shore to sleep a night. Appartenly there only a few places in the world where they do this. Our weather was perfect with very little rain this time!

October in Virginia

We had a wonderful time in Virginia. We rented a VRBO for Amy's family, Craig and us. Tanner's family was living just 10 minutes away and Sarah and Ethen were about 30 minutes away. It was a little tricky navigating our group with so many littles, but we loved spending time together and enjoyed watching the cousins get to know each other. We went to Mount Vernon, the Children's Museum in in D.C. and walked around Alexandria.

Temple and Zion!

 Such a blessing to go through the Temple with Kate! She recently received her mission call to Toronto Canada and will be leaving in February. We are so proud of her! We also enjoyed some time on the lake and then Gary and I took our bikes to Zion for a few days. It was truly wonderful after the summer of recovery from surgery enjoying biking and hiking in the beautiful scenery!
